Four years later, Gilberto Nunez was charged with Tom Kolman’s murder. Nunez allegedly poisoned Kolman with Midazolam, a dental sedative, because he wanted Linda all to himself.

Gilberto Nunez was charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death of Tom Kolman in October 2015.
However, Gilberto was found not guilty of the crime. In February 2017, he was sentenced to two and a half to seven years in state prison by County Court Judge Donald Williams.
After only a year in prison, he was authorized for “merit time” and released in 2018.
Nunez will be on parole until October 2, 2023, and his medical license will be revoked, preventing him from returning to his former dental practice.
