According to Oxygen, Bill’s first wife, Krista, was killed in a car accident before he met Diane Kyne. After she tripped, hit her head, and fell into the pool, the authorities concluded that she had drowned.

Her life insurance policy, which according to Oxygen, was worth $250,000, benefited Bill.

It’s interesting to note that he was also the recipient of a few other insurance policies, including one for the shop destroyed by fire and another for the loss of his property.

Moreover, Bill had also bought insurance policies on Diane and was listed as the beneficiary. The policies had a $750,000 value. Her son Kevin was only 15 when the couple got married in 2002, but he legally changed his last name to match his parents when he was 19.

However, the fact that Bill didn’t go back home to check on his wife raised suspicions in the eyes of the authorities.

The fact that Bill’s DNA was found on the nail salon owner’s neck didn’t surprise the prosecutors because they were supposedly a happy couple who shared a bed and a room.

They also noted that even though he had previously received sizeable payouts for the passing of his first wife, a shop fire, and the burning down of his investment home, there was no evidence of him engaging in insurance fraud.

Bill, however, continues to be shrouded in public suspicion due to Kevin’s allegations against him.

It is, hence, not entirely surprising that the widower and author of the moving memoir “Love that Lasts a Lifetime” prefers to keep his personal life far away from the spotlight these days. He even lost his third wife.

Bill is currently a resident of the Palm Harbor region, where he holds the position of president of KG True North, a Christian non-profit organization, in addition to being a small business owner and investor.
