Daryl Maguire Divorce Update
Daryl Maguire finalized his divorce settlement with his estranged wife, Maureen Maguire, in early-2018. The reason behind their traumatic divorce is the disgraced Libera MP’s infidelity. They initially separated from their marriage in 2013.
Maguire agreed to pay a divorce alimony of around $1 million to Maureen at that time of divorce. His ex-wife also signed a child custody agreement of their two children, Kara, and James Maguire.
Following the divorce, Mrs. Maguire relocated to Noosaville, Queensland. The pair’s grown-up daughter, Kara, also lives nearby The Sunshine Coast. As of now, the 60 years old actively volunteers in the community service.
Daryl lives in his Wagga Wagga family farm with his son, James, who spoke before the public inquiry last week. After ICAC officers raided their house, his grown-up son allegedly called his dad’s former office to warn staff to destroy or remove documents.
Mrs. Maguire was dedicated to her family, according to Wagga Wagga City Councillor Yvonne Braid. Others have characterized her as highly active in local politics until she and Daryl split up several years ago.
Shirley Clarke, a former president of the Liberal Party’s Wagga Wagga women’s chapter, said Ms. Maguire was a diligent volunteer well-liked by many people in the town. “The Maguire family was quite well-liked in Wagga,” she claimed.
In his first address, Daryl Maguire congratulated his former wife and two children as the newly elected member for Wagga Wagga in 1999. His family, he stated, had never wavered in their support and encouragement. They also worked on his campaigns.

Daryl Maguire has been in a romantic relationship with NSW’s Legislative Assembly, Gladys Berejiklian. They initially met for the first in 2013 and subsequently started dating.
In an interview, the NSW’s Liberal Party leader proclaimed that Daryl is not her boyfriend. But, she is in love with the disgraced Wagga Wagga MP. When asked if she loved him and thought he loved her back, she said yes.
