Darius Boyd spoke casually about how his life fell apart after he cheated on his wife on Monday night’s SAS Australia.

Who Did Darius Boyd Have An Affair With?
Darius Boyd had an affair with several girls in 2014 just two years after his marriage with Kayla. Darius and Kayla married in 2012 after meeting in a nightclub when he was 22.
However, just two years later they began to face some extremely difficult challenges as Darius was involved with someone else. It infidelity lead to the breakdown of their marriage in 2014.
Following the separation, he took a break from NRL and entered a private psychiatric hospital. “2014 was certainly a hard year at the Newcastle Knights, and I definitely don’t feel great about that time of my life,” Darius continued.
He remembered disappointing his mother, grandmother, and, in particular, Kayla. “I was unfaithful, and she made the right decision by leaving,” Darius explained.
He stated that the situation and the time is not something he is proud of, but it was necessary for us to them to get where they are today.
Darius also recalled his struggles with mental health.
Darius remembered his “rock bottom” moment and reached out to his former football manager for assistance. He was connected with a nurse at a mental health facility and directed to the assistance he required.
“I remember just hanging up the phone and crying after that,” he stated. Darius revealed that he was relieved that he will be able to better himself and live a better life.
Darius Wife Kayla and Family Response Amid Cheating Rumors
Darius’s wife Kayla and his family were disappointed by his cheating rumors. He felt alone after being left by his partner and suffered from depression and separation anxiety.
However, after seeing his condition, Kayla decided to get back with him. “I ended up meeting him, and he looked so sick,” Kayla said in a conversation with Nine.
“He just seemed drained and exhausted, he hadn’t eaten, he hadn’t slept, and it was like so scary,” she explained.
Darius was able to overcome his depression with Kayla’s help and eventually return to the NRL in 2015.
Kayla has remained open about her marriage’s difficulties in the years since, claiming she doesn’t want anyone to think it’s perfect. She wrote an excerpt for the SAS recruit’s book, Battling the Blues, in which she addressed the couple’s difficulties.

Darius stated that “rebuilding” the relationship was “a challenge.” “It took time, as it always does. It took some time for myself and Kayla.
“But [we’re] definitely in such a really good place now because of some of the hardships we’ve gone through,” he continued.
