Daphne’s father Mehmet Cengiz Oz, known professionally as Dr. Oz, is a Turkish–American television presenter, author, politician, professor emeritus, and retired cardiothoracic surgeon.
He is the Republican nominee in the 2022 United States Senate election in Pennsylvania and is the first Muslim candidate to be nominated by either major party for U.S. Senate.
Her mother Lisa Oz is an American author and radio and television personality who has been an occasional co-host of The Dr. Oz Show. She has appeared on the Oprah and Friends XM radio telecasts. Oz has authored or co-authored several books, including the You: The Owner’s Manual series, and is host of The Lisa Oz Show.
Mehmet Oz has been married to Lisa Oz since 1985.
The couple share four children; Daphne Oz, Oliver Mustafa Oz, Zoe Yasemin Oz and Arabella Sezen Oz.
