Dannika Lewis Biography
Dannika Lewis is an American Journalist. She is currently working as a News Anchor and Reporter at WISC-TV in Madison, Wisconsin. Lewis joined the news team in 2012 July as a morning anchor and weekend anchor. Before she joined WISC Lewis worked as a reporter at NBC29 WVIR-TV for 2 years from June 2010 to July 2012. Dannika was responsible for the shooting, writing, editing, and fronting pieces.
After graduating from college, Lewis joined WMAR-TV in Baltimore as an intern in July 2008 till August 2008. As the newsroom intern, she wrote a variety of broadcast news content for the 26th market station and Conducted interviews. She also participated in the editing process for a variety of pieces in conjunction with professional reporters and producers.
In June 2009 she became CBS Evening News medical unit intern at CBS News. She Co-produced and co-shot for CBS Doc Dot Com and Researched, logged and performed other necessary tasks to help pitch, write and create both long-term and day-of medical unit pieces.
Dannika later became a reporter, foreign correspondent, anchor, and director of marketing at Phoenix14 News. She served in this position for 3 years 9 months from September 2006 to May 2010. Moreover, She shot, edited, wrote and produced content for a top nationally recognized student-run newscast and website.
She was assigned to the first international correspondence position stationed in Madrid, Spain, including a variety of self-produced and translated news pieces. In addition, She later transferred to NBC29 WVIR-TV at Charlottesville, Virginia Area in June 2010. She worked as a reporter for 2years 2 months till July 2012.
