The actress and singer was born Danielle Nicole Bisutti on October 1, 1976 in Los Angeles, California. Of Italian descent, she was raised by her parents, Diana and Richard Bisutti.
Since childhood, she developed an interest in becoming an entertainer, thanks to the influence of her mother’s sister, Cristina Ferrare, a famous actress, model and television personality. Additionally, her father worked as a film and television set designer for two decades.
Her mother is a real estate agent and author whose first work Finding Davy Jones: A Tale of the Coming Age from 1967 was published in 2018. She is also an artist and cancer survivor. Growing up, both of her parents always encouraged her that she could be anything she wanted.
Her interest in entertainment has been sustained since she was a child and when she arrived in high school she became involved in drama, dance, speaking, debating, choir and athletics. Bisutti would go on to earn a bachelor’s degree in theater and musical theater from California State University in Fullerton, where she became a known face in theater.
