His best-known works are the Baseball Card Adventures children’s book series, which began with Honus & Me and has now expanded to include more than a dozen titles. Each book in the series is based on the concept of a little kid going back in time to meet a baseball great; the first book is based on the premise of a young boy discovering an Honus Wagner T206 baseball card in the attic of his next door neighbour.
