Dan Dickau Married Life
Dan married his high school lover Heather on 2nd August 2002. Dan now lives in Spokane Washington.
The two lovebirds met while studying in high school in Vancouver, Washington State. They were engaged right before Dickau was set to make a break in the NBA.
The year 2002 came as a blessing for the former Gonzaga Bulldogs point guard. After college, he was picked by the Sacramento Kings in the 2002 NBA draft. Then two months later, Dan walked down the aisle with his fiancee in August.
Seven years after their first date, Dan swept Heather off her feet by bringing her to a romantic candlelit dinner at a nearby restaurant during Christmas break.
He had her solve some puzzles before pulling out an engagement ring as he got down on one knee to propose to her.
Heather, a former high school basketball player, was shocked initially, but she said “YES” immediately after.
Heather won a state championship in high school, an achievement Dan could not get a taste of. So he said he had to buy her an engagement ring to refrain her from watching her state ring.
Born in Collier Road, Atlanta, in Vancouver, the gorgeous Nevenner later joined the NBA club Portland Trail Blazers dance team.
Heather is 42 years old, two years younger than her husband, Daniel, who was born in September 1978.
Dan Dickau Children
Dan and Heather welcomed a baby daughter on March 11, 2022. They now have seven children, five girls, and two boys.
An American sports writer, John Canzano, announced the birth of their seventh child via a tweet four days after the delivery.
He also added Dan was thrilled that he finally beat his fellow NBA athlete friend John Stockton but in terms of the size of his family.
Their seven little ones range from 9 months to 17 years old. One of their daughters, Emma Dickau, is a professional ice skater making both her parents proud at such a tender age.
In January 2019, Emma got called up to play for the nationals in Detroit when she was ten. Heather was emotional hearing that news and recalled the moment she gave birth to her.
Emma, who was just 4 pounds at birth, was in the neonatal intensive care unit for a very long period. Heather felt proud of her achievement, “I say she was meant to be in front of people.”
Dickau Grew Up In Portland
Dickau was born on September 16, 1978 in Portland, Oregon. His parents were from a well-to-do background and raised him well.
