Dakeem Jones was an American citizen who recently died.

There were rumors of Dakeem Jones being one of the five victims of the shooting in Denver and Lakewood. 

The incident took place on 27 December 2021. As for the shooter, he was 47-year-old Lyndon James Mcleod. He gunned five people to death and wounded two before a Lakewood police officer shot him to death for unknown motives. 

Reportedly, the killer knew the victims, and he even foreshadowed some of the killings in a series of books he published under the pseudonym Roman McClay.

It began at Sol Tribe Tattoo & Body Piercing. The 44-year-old owner, Alicia Cardenas, was the first victim. Mother of a 12-year-old child, she called herself an indigenous artist and muralist. 

A day later, police confirmed the identity of the three other victims. The shooter killed Alyssa Gunn Maldonado, a Sol Tribe assistant manager, and wounded her husband, James Maldonado. 

Likewise, 38-year-old Danny Scofield died at the Lucky 13 Tattoo, 28-year-old Sarah Steck at the Hyatt House hotel, and 67-year-old Michael Swinyard at his home near the Cheesman Park in Denver.

After killing two and injuring one in Denver, Lyndon fled to Lakewood, where he gunned another three and wounded one. At the end of the spree that lasted over an hour, police officer Ashley Ferris confronted him. He shot her to the abdomen, but she returned fire, killing him.

Dakeem, aka Adam Jones, being one of the victims is a false rumor. However, he has passed away, and his homegoing celebration was on 13 November 2021 at Coney Funeral Home.

However, he was a married man, watching his homegoing celebration that Coney Funeral Home posted on Facebook.  

Likewise, there is little to no information on Dakeem’s family, including their identities, profession, and educational qualifications. Nonetheless, they were all in a lot of grief at the ceremony. His disabled father was full of sadness, while his mother cried a lot in the video. That was also the same for other family members.
