After having won the beauty pageant, Miss Planet Nigeria, Africa 2015/2016, this beauty queen set out to touch lives and what better way to do it than to give back to the society in her own little way? Touching the lives of children and youths all over.
Cynthia Diko (Miss Planet Nigeria, Africa 2015/2016), a native of Imo state and a graduate of Microbiology at Madonna University, Elele, recently embarked on her pet project (Youth Empowerment) on skills acquisition and a workshop on shoe making at A.U.D Comprehensive Secondary School, Sango Ota, Ogun State in partnership with the GIVE THEM HOPE INITIATIVE.
Her vision is to see a healthy, balanced, prosperous and productive youth in the society.
She said that the goal of the vision, having been conceived and kickstarted is very possible and attainable in the long run but she alone cannot do it all.
Therefore, she is calling on well meaning individuals, corporate bodies, NGOs and Government for support in the actualization of this initiative to a greater extent, to do more for as many children and youths out there.
