Courtney started working under the well-known film producer Christine Peters in Los Angeles at ‘Paramount Pictures.’ She worked at’ Paramount Pictures’ from 2006 to 2008 and then moved to New York City where she started producing infomercials for’ Square One Entertainment.’ Simultaneously, she also began developing a swimwear line called’ Cover-Ups by Courtney.’

In autumn 2012, Nikki Sixx whisked away from his beloved Courtney Bingham for days filled with romance and relaxation to “their favorite place on earth–St. Barth.” She admits that the bassist from Mötley Crüe “is romantic by nature,” but Courtney had no idea what amorous surprises he had in store. In fact, Nikki had been very secret in his planning. He had been researching various diamond shapes and sizes online for months before. Finally, he went out with his accountant (who is knowledgeable about diamonds) and selected a stone: “I knew it was the one for her as soon as I saw that rock,” Nikki recalls.
He also secured permission from Courtney’s father for her hand in marriage. “Even rock stars need to get the father’s thumbs-up,” confirms the Grammy nominee. Courtney’s bewilderment began when Nikki, who doesn’t drink, escorted her for a pre-dinner cocktail at the hotel bar. From there, they were guided by a hostess to a path sculpted from luminaries across the sand that led the couple to a candlelit cabana. “I had a heart attack and started crying because it was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen, put together by the man of my dreams, on the most beautiful beach in the world,” describes Courtney, who maintains that she was still unaware of the forthcoming proposal.
