Cody Brown is a football player who plays professionally. Learn more about his net worth, stats, and Twitter following his selection by the Philadelphia Stars as a second safety in the 2022 USFL Draft.
After a solid undergraduate career, Cody Brown was drafted 69th overall out of UConn, but he never played in an NFL regular-season game.
He was sacked before the 2010 season began after suffering a season-ending wrist injury in a preseason game during his rookie season.
The inaugural draft of the resurrected USFL was shrouded in secrecy; the league refused to reveal its player pool ahead of time, and the ceremony was not broadcast live (apart from social media updates).
In the end, the eight teams in the United States Football League completed 35 rounds in less than 21 hours.
Cody Brown: Added By Philadelphia Stars As Second Safety In USFL Draft 2022
Brown had a tremendous season with the XFL’s Houston Roughnecks, but cornerback Deatrick Nichols may have overshadowed him. Brown has 24 tackles (19 solos), two interceptions, and a sack in five games.
He rapidly established himself as a highly versatile player who contributes to every defense facet.
Any USFL team that acquires Brown might employ him at various places, which would be a nightmare for opposing offenses.
Despite his ability to make an NFL squad, the USFL would be an excellent way to raise his profile.
