Carl Izzo and Dorothy Izzo are the parents of Tom Izzo, an American college basketball coach who presently coaches the ‘Michigan State University basketball team.
Tom has been playing basketball since he was a toddler, growing up in the Iron Mountain area of Michigan. After graduating from Northern Michigan University, he began working as a basketball coach at ‘Ishpeming High School.
