Chuck Woolery First Wife: Who is Margaret Hays?

Having appeared on television for almost 50 years, Chuck Woolery is a well-known figure. He was raised on his family’s farm in the small town of Inez, Kentucky, where he was born Charles Herbert Woolery on March 16, 1941.

At Morehead State University, Woolery pursued a chemistry degree after graduating from high school. He quickly came to see, though, that the entertainment business was where he truly belonged, so he left school to become a musician.

He started a group named The Avant-Garde, which earned recognition for its psychedelic rock songs and developed a fan base in the Los Angeles music scene. Woolery has a reputation for being vocal and unafraid to express his opinions.

At the age of 20, Woolery married Margaret Hayes in 1961. The couple had three children: an adoptive son named Cary who is now 56–57 years old; a daughter named Katherine (also known as Kitty) who is 48–49 years old; and a third son named Chad who passed away. Chad, a 19-year-old motorcyclist, was killed in a collision with a median in Brentwood, California in January 1986. He passed away instantly.
