Christina Ricci Lizzie Borden

Lizzie Borden Took an Ax is a 2014 American television biopic about Lizzie Borden, a young American woman tried and acquitted of the murders of her father and stepmother in Fall River, Massachusetts, in 1892. It premiered on Lifetime on January 25, 2014, and starred Christina Ricci in the title role.

The film was so successful it was followed by a miniseries, The Lizzie Borden Chronicles, which aired from April to May 2015. Ricci has described the film and its follow-up as being “self-aware, campy, and tongue-in-cheek”.

In August 1892, Fall River, Massachusetts Sunday school teacher Lizzie Borden comes across the terrible murder scene of her father Andrew, who had been brutally killed with a hatchet. Local law enforcement arrives, also discovering the body of Abby Borden, the stepmother of Lizzie and her older sister Emma.

As the case progresses, the evidence seems to point to Lizzie as the prime suspect. Her lawyer, Andrew Jennings, maintains that a woman could not commit such a cruel and gruesome crime.

Still, Lizzie is put on trial for the murders, and the case makes headlines in newspapers throughout the country, which call it the most infamous of the century.

Eventually, the jury finds Lizzie innocent of all charges. Despite the acquittal, she has become the town pariah. During a final confrontation between Lizzie and Emma, the former asks her sister if she wants to know the truth. Lizzie then whispers into Emma’s ear as a series of flashbacks show Lizzie committing the murders.

A visibly upset Emma leaves the room, and eventually, moves out of their home, never seeing Lizzie again. Lizzie walks outside and hears three children jump roping to the famous nursery rhyme: “Lizzie Borden took an axe/She gave her mother forty whacks/When she saw what she had done/She gave her father forty-one.”

Christina Ricci Tattoos

Fairy: The actress has a booming tattoo of a fairy on her right wrist. This tattoo is symbolic of feminism. Fairies are spellbinding creatures.

Praying Hands: Near this chics midriff, she has got inked two hands folded assumingly in a praying position. It somewhat looks like a bat too.  It is an ingenious symbol of faith in love, peace or anything people aspiring to.

Mermaid: Why would an evergreen need green? Such is the case of Christina Ricci. Her mermaid tattoo on her foot simply leaves her fans awestruck. Mermaids are dowagers of witchery, blandishing sailors with enticing beauty, finesse and hot spellbound melodies.

Swallow: Her womanish features are more exorbitant. Thanks to her sexy swallow tattoo. The swallow tattoo was a symbol used in the past by sailors to flaunt their sailing dairies. It is also believed that if the sailor knocks over, the swallows will backpack their soul to heaven.

Move or Bleed: On her left toned rib cage, she has a scripted phrase tattooed which reads, “Move or Bleed“. Too optimistic to get the hold, it actually means either to walk courageously or to stay and be a victim.

Sweet Peas: On her hotshot sacrum, just above her wrap-ups, Ricci has a boutonniere of sweet peas inked. It was done by Thomas Lockhart at the West Coast Tattoo Shop while she was filming the movie “Prozac Nation.” Sweet Peas was borrowed from the Greek word “Lathyrus” which means pulse or pea.

“Odoratus” on the other hand is a Latin word that means fragrant. When it comes to floral terminology, the sweet pea flower is affiliated with aerial pleasure or ecstatic pleasure or exodus or goodbyes or gratitude for the sweet time and adios.

Jack: Christina Ricci on her so pumped right leg got inked her deceased pet’s name “Jack“. Her tattoo says how largely she loved it.

The Lion: A tattoo of Aslan the lion from The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe book on her upper back displays a never moving on view. Lion has always been a symbol of never-ending courage and fearlessness. A book on the same track represents a quest or hunt for knowledge.

Christina Ricci Cursed

Cursed is a 2004 American-German werewolf body horror film directed by Wes Craven and written by screenwriter Kevin Williamson, who both collaborated on Scream. The film stars Christina Ricci and Jesse Eisenberg as two estranged siblings attacked by a werewolf loose in Los Angeles.

Originally planned for 2003, the film is a notable example of development hell, taking over two more years to be made than originally planned, during which producers Bob and Harvey Weinstein kept asking for reshoots and changes to the plot, re-edited the movie to give a PG-13 rating rather than the original intended R-rating, and fired legendary makeup artist Rick Baker to replace the werewolves he had created with computer-generated ones. The film was a box-office failure and was panned by critics; Craven himself was very displeased with the final result.

In Los Angeles, siblings Ellie (Christina Ricci) and Jimmy (Jesse Eisenberg) come across an accident on Mulholland Drive.
As they try to help the woman caught in the wreckage, a ferocious creature attacks them, devouring the woman and scratching the terrified siblings. They slowly discover that the creature was a werewolf and that they have fallen victim to a deadly curse. Now that they have been sliced by the werewolf’s claws, they will be transformed into werewolves themselves.

Christina Ricci Today|Christina Ricci Now

From the moment she first snapped her fingers in time to The Addams Family theme song, Christina Ricci was a star. Best known for playing Wednesday Addams, Ricci was notable not only for her fabulous acting abilities but also for expertly avoiding the kind of Hollywood growing pains that plagued so many professional kids of her cohort. But despite making it to an adulthood free of scandal or addiction, it seems like Christina Ricci just doesn’t get cast anymore.

Christina Ricci  Merkin|Christina Ricci  Full Frontal|Christina Ricci  Amazon

Christina Ricci was wowing audiences with her portrayal of the notorious, flapper Spitfire that was Zelda Fitzgerald (the wife and muse of famed writer F. Scott Fitzgerald). She stars alongside Aussie actor David Hoflin as The Great Gatsby author in the Amazon Prime series; Z: The Beginning of Everything.

While the show focuses on the early years of the Fitzgeralds and their descent into debauchery and alcoholism – it also displays quite plainly, the inhibition of Zelda Fitzgerald and her penchant for outrageous behavior.

One such scene is in an early episode of the 10-part series. During a party celebrating their recent wedding, Zelda decides to throw everyone out by walking out into the gathering completely nude.

Ricci is seen proudly full frontal with only a fuzzy merkin covering her modesty. Ricci even had a laugh about the prop on her Instagram.

Christina Ricci The Addams Family|Christina Ricci Speed Racer|Christina Ricci Breakout

Christina Ricci expressed interest in returning to The Addams Family and reprising her role in Speed Racer. The actress has curated a resume of impressive roles starting from the time she was young.

One of her best-known childhood performances came as Wednesday Addams. And in 2008, she played Trixie in the Wachowskis’ Speed Racer, starring Emile Hirsch. While Ricci has recently been focused on smaller projects in both film and television, she is open to revisiting her past famous work.

As mentioned above, Ricci’s career began as a child actress. Her breakout role came in 1991’s The Addams Family, and she’d come back for 1993’s Addams Family Values.

Following the success of the Addams Family films, Ricci would go on to cultivate a successful career in Hollywood. The actress worked with Tim Burton and Johnny Depp in the 1999 film Sleepy Hollow and received a Golden Globe nomination for her role in The Opposite of Sex the same year.

She also starred alongside Charlize Theron in the 2003 Academy Award-winner Monster, and would later earn acclaim for films like Penelope and Speed Racer.

Christina Ricci Wednesday Addams|Christina Ricci And Morticia Addams|Christina Ricci Morticia Addams|Christina Ricci As Morticia Addams

Back in 1991, Christina Ricci(she was ii years old) starred in The Addams Family movie as the wonderfully creepy Wednesday Addams. Wednesday Addams is a fictional character created by American cartoonist Charles Addams in his comic strip The Addams Family. The character has also appeared in television, film, and in video games, in both the live-action and animated formats.

In Addams’ cartoons, which first appeared in The New Yorker, Wednesday and other members of the family had no names. When the characters were adapted to the 1964 television series, Charles Addams gave her the name “Wednesday”, based on the well-known nursery rhyme line, “Wednesday’s child is full of woe.”

The idea for the name was supplied by the actress and poet Joan Blake, an acquaintance of Addams. She is the sister of Pugsley Addams (and, in the movie Addams Family Values, also the sister of Pubert Addams), and she is the only daughter of Gomez and Morticia Addams.

And while it’s hard to say exactly what the character would look like today, Tumblr has its own answer. Behold, Ricci as Wednesday in a very Morticia Addams look.

Social media has been going nuts for this image of Christina Ricci as Morticia Addams. She famously played Morticia’s daughter, Wednesday, in The Addams Family nearly 25 years ago.

At just 11, Ricci became an overnight sensation which was based on the 60s TV series and the original Charles Addams cartoon strips. She looks amazing. But sorry to say, it’s fake. It has been flopped and Photoshopped from the publicity still of Anjelica Huston, below.

But this kind of thing might get Hollywood thinking –we’ve not seen much of Ricci lately. So, get busy Paul Rudnick. He wrote the script to the sequel to 1993’s, Addams Family Values, which was the funnier of the two. Speaking of real or fake… remember Ricci’s classic line from the film when quizzed about her lemonade…? Watch.

Christina Ricci And Devon Sawa|Christina Ricci “Got With”

In news that every ’90s kid will appreciate, it’s true: Christina Ricci and Devon Sawa had a thing back when they were filming Now and Then.

According to E! News, that’s one of the behind-the-scenes tidbits that came out of an LA screening held for the movie’s 20th anniversary on Friday, which brought out Devon, Thora Birch, writer I. Marlene King, and producers Suzanne and Jennifer Todd.

At one point, it was revealed that all four lead girls had a “wild crush” on Devon, and they had a bet going on who would “get with” him while filming. For his part, Devon said, “no comment,” but Thora said that Christina — who also starred with Devon in Casper that same year — ended up winning the contest.

One producer said, “She got out front, and the other girls weren’t happy about it,” and Devon added, “I was the only 15-year-old boy with the cast of the hottest young girls in town, so it was a lot of fun.” Nostalgia gold, right?

Christina Ricci  Riccing

Christina Ricci sparked a new photo trend called “Riccing.” The latest phenomena came about after the star started sharing photos of herself squeezing into tiny spaces.”Being small does have its benefits, however. Look out for my new photo series, ‘I Can Fit In That!’,” Ricci wrote with a photo of her coming out of a dryer. Most recently, the celeb fit her entire body into a refrigerator. “Yes, pants would have been more appropriate fitting-into-fridge attire. But, hey, I saw my opportunity and took it,” she wrote with the snapshot. “That’s not my fridge, FYI. Work fridge. Work shenanigans.”

Christina Ricci And Zelda Fitzgeralds’ Story

Christina Ricci’s movie vocation started early — at only 10 years of age, she played the lovably malignant Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family. From that point, she proceeded to play captivating and frequently dim and harmed characters, becoming well known as an on-screen character who could take advantage of complex jobs.

Ricci’s most recent undertaking is no special case: She plays Zelda Fitzgerald, spouse of creator F. Scott Fitzgerald, in Amazon’s historical series Z: The Beginning of Everything. Zelda was known for her magnificence and cheerful moods — her better half said she was the principal American flapper. However, she additionally battled with psychological instability and liquor abuse.

Ricci clarifies a typical misinterpretation about Zelda: “that she was this alcoholic insane lady who destroyed F. Scott Fitzgerald’s life, and notwithstanding her he would have had an extraordinary life.” It’s a thought that was promoted by essayist Ernest Hemingway. In any case, as the entertainer brings up, “He was a huge misogynist.” reality, she says, is substantially more entangled.

Christina Ricci And Miguel Ferrer

Christina Ricci and Miguel Ferrer are voice-featuring in Teen Titans: The Judas Contract, the hotly anticipated DC Universe vivified unique film from Warner Bros. Activity, DC Entertainment, and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.

The motion picture, being coordinated by Sam Liu (Justice League versus High schooler Titans) from a screenplay by Ernie Altbacker, adjusts the exemplary storyline from Tales of the Teen Titans, one of DC’s top funnies during the 1980s. Ricci will play Teen Titans part Terra and Ferrer is voicing the hired fighter reprobate Deathstroke.

Ricci and Ferrer are newcomers to the stable of the DC vivified motion pictures, a line that commends its tenth commemoration this year.

Titans will likewise observe returning DC players Sean Maher, Kari Wahlgren, Jake T. Austin, Taissa Farmiga, Brandon Soo Hoo, and Stuart Allan join the voice cast.

Teenager Titans were DC’s comic that clashed with Marvel’s Uncanny X-Men in the mid-1980s when the two funnies were surpassing their organizations’ increasingly settled stars, for example, Batman and Spider-Man, respectively.

Titans, financier Marv Wolfman and penciller George Perez, hit an apex with The Judas Contract storyline. It was the summit of long stretches of stories that saw the Titans — youthful saints Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy, Nightwing/Robin, and Cyborg —face the double-crossing of their partner Terra. The young lady had joined forces with Deathstroke to bring down the group.
