Christian Vincent Siriano, born November 18, 1985, is an American fashion designer who is a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). His rise to prominence began in 2007, when he won the fourth season of the American design competition television show Project Runway, making him the show’s youngest winner ever.

In 2008, Siriano launched his namesake fashion business, “Christian Siriano,” which generated more than $1.2 million in revenue by 2010 and was expected to reach $5 million by 2012.

Time magazine included Siriano on their renowned list of the 100 Most Influential People in 2018, recognizing his considerable effect.

Siriano worked as a freelance makeup artist and made wedding gowns for private clients before competing in Project Runway. He also interned at Marc Jacobs for a short time. He opted to join the show after being encouraged by a friend’s mother.

During his participation in Project Runway’s fourth season, Siriano won three challenges, which was the most of any contender that season. He made it to the show’s finals and was given the opportunity to present a twelve-piece final collection during New York Fashion Week.

The Musketeer-inspired collection featured extravagant ruffles, feathers, and hats. During the finals, which aired on March 5, 2008, celebrity guest judge Victoria Beckham praised Siriano’s collection as a “breath of fresh air.”
