Christian Siriano debuted a limited collection for the catalog store Spiegel in February 2011, dubbed “Christian Siriano for Spiegel.” He was the first designer to be chosen for the catalog’s designer collaborations section, “Signature Styles.”
Payless increased Siriano’s range in 2011, with intentions to issue four collections each year, including a higher-priced “Gold Collection.” The New York Times estimated his label’s income to be around $5 million in 2012.
The first Christian Siriano flagship store debuted on Elizabeth Street in Manhattan’s Nolita area in September 2012. Celebrity visitors included Heidi Klum, Allison Williams from the HBO series Girls, stylist Brad Goreski, and DJs The Misshapes.
Siriano debuted a limited range of cheap dresses, pieces, and accessories for the Home Shopping Network in January 2013, dubbed “Striking by Christian Siriano.”
Siriano was inducted into the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) in June 2013, after being rejected in 2011.
