Christian Mansell Father Anthony Mansell Gave A Heart Wrenching Childhood Story

Christian Mansell father Anthony Mansell owns a company AJM Transport affiliated with Castrol. The Mansell family went through a tough battle with diabetes.

Through his father, Castrol also got easily pulled in and is associated with the rising star.

The Australian four-wheel racer started racing when he was in his early teens. He is set to compete in the FIA Formula 3 Championship of 2023. If he lines up in the grid, he will be one of the youngest drivers.

But unlike many sportsmen, Christian is type-1 diabetic. But it has never held him back from competing in karting, lower formulae, Euroformula open, British F3 Championship, and many other races.

Christian Mansell Father Anthony Mansell Is A Managing Director

Christian Mansell’s father is Anthony Mansell, and his mother is Megan Mansell. The young Formula 3 racer was born to his parents on 9 February 2005 in Maitland, New South Wales.

Speed Cafe reported the single-seat racer’s dad owns a company associated with Castrol. In addition, he owns AJM Transport, a service provider which is based in NSW.

The firm is established as one of the most professional and reliable industry leaders in the logistics and freight sector. The car driver dad has succeeded in the business with its branches in Melbourne and Brisbane.

As reported on AJM Transport, their fleet is the only one to travel more than 550 thousand kilometers in a year with a single truck. Mr. Mansell started the company 20 years ago with one truck, and now they have much driving through the roads of Australia.

Although Anthony likes to remain behind the camera and media coverage, he has an account on LinkedIn. He is currently serving as the managing director of his express linehaul business.

MD. Mansell company is a supporting partner of his racer son. Besides AJM Transport, the young rising star is supported by Castrol, Infinity Sports Management, Vawdrey Trailers, AW Performance, AMSL Diabetes Australia, and many more.

Many confuse Christian Mansell as the son of racing legend Nigel Mansell. However, they are unrelated to each other.

Christian Mansell Dad Anthony Explains Racer Childhood Story

Christian Mansell’s dad Anthony explained the childhood story of his rising star racer son. The AMSL diabetes posted the story named Diabetes: A Mum and Dad’s Stroy.

The pro racing driver’s father has answered most of the questions asked. Christina was just 14 when he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. According to Anthony, the family became concerned about his health after he started losing weight, and his eating, drinking, and toilet going habit became unusual.

Soon the teenage future star was taken to the hospital, where the nurse immediately checked the glucose level in the blood. Everyone was shocked by the result as it was 28mmol/L. According to WHO, regular blood glucose concentration is between 3.9 to 6.9 mmol/L.

Thus, little Mansell was in an emergency for more than 30 hours. After that, Anthony took his son for a shower, and Christian said it was a new challenge, and he was ready to smash it. It was emotional, but also a great confidence to overcome the situation.

Soon after the diagnosis, the family was introduced to Dexcom CGM, which helped the young racer back behind the wheel. Using it has helped the star as he does not need to wake at midnight for glucose level tests on blood.

Currently, he is using Decom G6, and his team has helped him by adding a secured phone compartment inside his car. With the application’s help, Christain can quickly check his levels.

His parents can also keep track of the glucose level, which has given the whole family more relief. Thus the young racer goes over 200 kmp/h in his machine on the track.

He hasn’t let disease prevent him from competing in races or going about his daily life. With the help of his family, medical team, and Dexcom Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM), he seems to have an outstanding racing career and life.
