Meet Chris Licht Parents Susan Mary And Dr. Peter David Licht
Christopher Andrew Licht, shortly Chris Licht, was born to his parents, Susan Mary (formerly Susan Mary Kneeland) and Dr. Peter David Licht.
Many people might not know, but Mr. Licht was born in Switzerland and spoke only French until he was five years old. Interestingly, in seventh grade, he failed in French.
His mother and father are from Newtown, Connecticut. The showrunner graduated with a journalism and political science degree from Syracuse University in 1993.
When asked how he began his career, Mr. Licht said that during his junior year in high school, he attended a career night his mother was speaking at.
That night, Chris met a woman employed at a local radio station in Connecticut. The executive producer said he hounded the woman until she organized an internship.
The internship turned into a job as a DJ. Moreover, at a station sales party, Chris met someone who worked at NBC News Sunrise. A few years later, the former CNN official persuaded the man until he secured an internship at “The Today Show,” where he met a producer.
Licht kept in touch with the producer throughout college. The same producer later hired him at KNBC in LA, and things have gone uphill since then.

Chris Licht has been married to his wife, Jenny, since 22 April 2006. Jenny’s real name is Jennifer Blanco.

Jenny accepted her first job as a producer for KADY Television in June 1995. She later started working for NBC News as the producer of KNSD.
Before heading to CNN in June 2007, Jenny became a line producer for MSNBC in May 2001. Jenny began producing for Anderson Cooper 360 in May 2010 and continued doing so until July 2015.
As of June 2023, Jenny stepped away from production and began working for CNN as a talent acquisition and development director.
