Captain America, also known by his real name Chris Evans, is an American actor best known for his roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film series.

Early Life and Rise to Fame
Chris Evans was born Christopher Robert Evans on13. June 1981 in Boston, Massachusetts to G. Robert Evans III and Lisa (née Capuano) Evans. His father worked as a dentist while his mother worked as an artistic director at the Concord Youth Theater.
Evans, along with his siblings; Sisters, Carlyand Shanna and younger brother Scott grew up in Sudbury. He attended Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, where he played for both the wrestling and lacrosse teams whenever he wasn’t playing one of the many roles he took on in school and community theater.
Chris Evans’ first starring role in front of the camera was in the comedy spoof Not Another Teen Movie. However, his first appearance was in the short educational film “Biodiversity: Wild About Life!” to see. He then took the lead role in Cellular (2004), The Perfect Score (2004), Fantastic Four. (2005) and ‘Street Kings’ (2008).
After the success of “Fantastic Four” and its sequel; “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer,” Evans began taking roles in science fiction projects and films adapted from comics. His first appearance was in 2009’s sci-fi Push, before appearing for DC Comics in 2010’s The Losers and then Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.
In 2011, Chris Evans was cast as Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, in the growing Marvel Cinematic Universe film series. His physique and fighting skills made him the perfect person for the job. His first film with the franchise was Captain America: The First Avenger. He took on the role in The Avengers (2012), Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), The Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016). and Avengers: Infinity War (2018). He has also appeared in other Marvel films such as ‘Ant-Man’ (2015) and ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ (2017).
Chris Evans has publicly said that after the fourth Avengers movie, due out in 2019, he will leave the Marvel Cinematic Universe to pursue other projects. Evans made sure he didn’t lose track of his diverse acting skills between Marvel films. He took on other projects like ‘Iceman’ (2012) and ‘Snowpiercer’ (2013) in which he played a villain and an antihero. He has also performed on stage, making his Broadway debut in 2018.
Evans also wants to make a name for himself as a director. The first project he directed was the 2014 romantic comedy Before We Go, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.
