Christine Dailey was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, on September 7th, 1959. She has two brothers, Edward and Michael, and a niece, Diane. She was born to Mary and Robert.
Even though she has affected the lives of many young people, Chris has no children of her own, nor has she ever been married.

Not ready to compromise, she once clarified that “[gave her] perspective on how things are supposed to happen,” the stable relationships of her family.

She is the godmother of the UConn Head Coach, Michael, the son of Geno Auriemma.

Early Life & Education :

From her Irish Catholic childhood, Chris established rigid hypotheses. She now extends some of the guidelines to her players: no sweats on squad trips, no classroom sweatpants, no nail polish on the field, no public sunglasses, and no noticeable tattoos.

One retired player also discusses how Chris taught them to “look millionaires in the eye” and “have a conversation with [people] from [their] age group.”

Dailey goes to the University of Rutgers after completing St. Peter’s High School to receive a degree in fitness and physical activity. She helped them lift the 1982 AIAW Division 1 national championship on the basketball team from 1978-1982 and acted as the team captain in her last two years.

Job, Salary & Net Worth :

With long-standing ambitions to become a high school instructor and mentor, Chris changed her mind after she had a disappointing student-teaching encounter during her senior year at college.

When she was given an assistant coaching spot at Cornell University, she wanted to teach younger children because she was only coaching in high school.

Chris became an assistant coach at her alma mater, Rutgers University, following one year with Cornell. Before entering UConn in 1985, she stayed at Rutgers for two years as an assistant under the freshly recruited head coach, Geno Auriemma.

Chris was elevated to associate head coach in 1988, and has worked in the role since then.
