Before he began working with CNN, he was with ABC News as co-anchor of ABC’s 20/20 show and chief law and justice correspondent. Family: father, wife and children
Chris Cuomo was born to former Democratic New York Governor Mario Cuomo and had to move from Queens to his hotel when he was 12 years old. His father served as the 52nd Governor of New York for three terms, from 1983 to 1994. From 1979 to 1982 he was Lieutenant Governor of New York and before that he was Secretary of State. It was from 1975 to 1978.
He has a brother; New York’s 56th Governor Andrew Cuomo, who is as Democratic as his father. He is a graduate of Fordham University and Albany Law School at Union University in New York.
Chris Cuomo took on family responsibilities as a married man when he walked down the aisle with Gotham magazine editor Cristina Greeven in 2001. Their wedding took place in Southampton, New York, in a Catholic ceremony Roman. The couple share three children together; a son named Mario and two daughters named Bella and Carolina Regina. They all reside in the family’s Manhattan home.
Cuomo’s marriage was void of controversy or even the slightest bit of infidelity in her. He’s managed to replicate the success of his media career in his family, and we hope the same will happen for the TV presenter and journalist-turned-lawyer.
