Born in Tappahannock, Virginia, as Christopher Brown on May 5, 1989, he has been attracted to music since his youth and has been strongly inspired by the sounds of Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, and Anita Baker.
It wasn’t until the age of 11, though, that he really had a beautiful voice, thanks to his mother, who immediately discovered the talent of her son when she heard him performing around their home.
