Chris Bol Is The Unheard Son Of NBA Legend Manute Bol

Chris Bol is the son of the late NBA player Manute Bol who played basketball in college. Chris is one of the four children from his second marriage to Ajok.

Moreover, Manute wished to see his son play basketball, and his three children, Bol Bol, Madut, and Chris, worked hard to make their father’s dream a reality.

Their father was chosen by the Washington Bullets in the 1985 NBA draft and holds the record for being the tallest player in NBA history.

Amid this, Bol as a center is regarded as one of the finest shot blockers in sports history. He is the first NBA player to have retired with more career blocks than points.

Manute Bol Son Chris Bol Played Basketball With His Two Brothers

Chris Bol is the 32 years old son of NBA star Manute Bol who participated in an ABA tryout for the South Florida Gold.

After the passing of his father, he pursued his professional goals, even though he hadn’t always been a basketball player.

In an interview with WPTV News, Chris revealed that people had high expectations of him. After his father passed away, he felt obligated to accomplish something since his dad had always wanted him to play basketball.

He was rising to the top but regrettably, he was not selected for the NBA.

However, his half-brother, Bol Bol, did make it to the NBA and was predicted as the third choice in the 2019 NBA Draft after Zion Williamson and RJ Barrett until having a season-ending injury.

On the other hand, Bol has shared a few photographs on his Facebook profile, which hasn’t been updated since April 24, 2019. Additionally, he has 248 followers on Facebook and declares to be in a relationship.

Manute Bol Was A Dad To Ten Children

Only five of his ten offspring have had their names made public. They were Bol Bol, Madut Bol, Ayak Bol, Chris Bol and Abuk Bol.

Additionally, each of his three sons Bol, Chris and Madu has had their journey in basketball.

Madut Bol, born on December 19, 1989, played basketball in college and received his degree from Southern University in 2013.

Bol Bol is the youngest of the three sons born on November 16, 1999, and participated for the Oregon Ducks in the 2018-19 season.

The Miami Heat selected Bol Bol with the 44th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft; he was then traded to the Denver Nuggets. He is now a player for the Orlando Magic.
