Chord Overstreet’s big mouth and interesting ‘fish’ lips are famous like the Glee’s star Chord himself.
Glee star Chord Overstreet might have had to deal with bullying as a result of his facial features but now he has learned to take it in his stance. As he makes progress in his professional life, public interest in his physical appearance is inevitable.
He’s currently been on the news after his movie ‘Falling for Christmas’, a Netlfix holiday rom-com, released on 10 November, 2022.
It also features 2000’s Mean Girl star Lindsay Lohan who’s making her come back to the Hollywood as the love interest of Chord Overstreet in the movie.
Chord Overstreet Prides Over His Big Mouth and Interesting Lips
Chord Overstreet is proud of his big mouth and his interesting lips, to put it mildly.
The Glee star wasn’t even aware his lips were that big to be something to be talked about until he played Sam Evans in Glee.
It all goes back to the first-ever episode of Chord in the second season of Glee when Puck, a character played by Mark Sallings, asks, “Dude, your mouth is huge. How many tennis balls can you fit in there?”.
Chord acknowledged the remarks on his lips in the Interview with Zap2it and had some things to say.
Chord mentioned that he saw no offense with that comment and couldn’t care less. “I laughed when I read that in the script. I mean, I always got compliments or comments on my lips because I do have big lips”.
Although, Chord didn’t realise his feature would be that exaggerated.
Chord says, “I didn’t even know that I had big lips until I guess I joined the show. I hadn’t even thought about it. But if that’s the only thing they can point out, then I’ll take it! A lot of girls always compliment guys with big lips, so I don’t know! ”
Overall, Chord finds his big mouth fit to play Sam Evans with tendencies to put his foot in his mouth.
“Well, it should be easy for me since they reference my mouth being extra large numerous times. But no, it’s awesome. Everybody roots for the guy who puts his foot in his mouth”, Chord says for Vulture chatroom.
Chord Overstreet’s Fish Lips are his most talked about Facial Features
Chord Overstreet became the talk of the town for his facial features especially his fish lips.
All the chit-chat regarding his facial features started after his appearance in the second season of Fox musical drama series Glee.
It took only two episodes of Glee featuring Chord out for the comments on his Justin Beiber-Esque hairstyle, extra wide grin, and full lips to downpour.
There were also rumors about him being the love interest of Kurt, a character in the same television series played by Ryan Murphy and consequently became the object of admiration of the homosexual web community.
He addressed that in his chat with Vulture. “What can I say, I’m an attractive man, of course they’re going to plaster my face all over the Internet! [Laughs.] Nah, I’m kidding. It was really all up in the air till Ryan [Murphy] came out and said it’s not happening. They cast some other guy.”
Singing Poison’s “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” in shower for his very first scene, Chord was admired to such exent by Glee watchers, the makers of the show had to bring him back for season 3.
