Basic Travel Requirements for Senegaleses visiting
China
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to
apply for a Chinese Visa.
- Original passport with at least 6 months’ validity beyond stay in China.
- Passport with at least two blank pages for the Chinese visa stamp.
- China visa application form that is correctly filled up and signed.
- A minor’s application form has to be filled by a parent or legal guardian.
- Two passport photograph taken within the last 6 months.
- Travel itinerary showing exit and entry date from China.
- Bank statement showing proof of sufficient funds throughout the stay in China.
- Applicants are required to provide proof of accommodation or hotel reservations in China.
- Copy of return flight ticket showing that the applicant has intentions of going back to Senegal.
- A criminal report signed by the police department showing that the applicant ha no criminal record in Senegal.
- If an applicant wants to stay longer in China, the applicant will have to apply for an extension at the China Department of Immigration.
- Documents confirming the purpose of travel to China is required.
- A certificate of vaccination against yellow fever vaccination is required.

- Completely filled and signed China visa application form.
- Incomplete or unsigned applications will delay the application process.
- Senegal passport must be valid and contain sufficient blank visa pages for visa stamps.
- Amendment pages in the back of your passport are not acceptable for visa stamp.
- Recent passport photograph within the last six months taken against a white background.
- The passport photographs must display neutral expression and must face the camera.
- You
must provide a copy of your round trip airline confirmation indicating
the dates of entry and exit from the country you intend to visit. - Confirmation of hotel accommodation or local address is required.
- If staying with friends or family, you must provide their local address and telephone number.
- Child under age 18 must submit a letter of consent from both parents and a copy of the birth certificate.
- Letter
of invitation from the host in China indicating details of applicant’s travel plans, purpose of visit, dates of arrival and departure from China. - Applicants also need to attach a detailed travel itinerary along with the covering letter.

Requirements
- One visa application form completely filled and signed.
- Applicant’s passport should be valid for 6 months from the date of return from China.
- Passport should have at least two blank pages for entry and exit visa stamp.
- 1 recent passport photograph that is taken with the last 6 months displaying a non-smiling expression.
- Flight ticket for return of applicant’s journey is mandatory.
- Applicants are required to provide photocopies of important documents.
- A copy of the applicant’s flight ticket is a mandatory China visa requirement.
- Letter of invitation from inviting company in Chain stating the purpose of stay and duration of stay. the letter should also indicate who will be responsible for the applicant’s financial expenses.
- The letter must include contact information such as company address and phone number of the company in China.
- The letter must be approved by the Ministry of Labor and Employment.
- Business letter from applicant’s Senegal based country stating they are aware of the applicant’s leave is required. The letter should also indicate the contact information of the company in Senegal.
- Copy of confirmed itinerary showing date of arrival and departure.
