Nigerian-American basketball player Chimezie Chukwudum Metu is now playing for the NBA’s Sacramento Kings.
He went to Lawndale High School in California, where he was a highly regarded four-star prospect, per Rivals.com. 2014 saw his college basketball commitment to the USC Trojans.
During his rookie season, Metu played in 34 games and started two of them. He averaged 6.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 54 blocks per game.
In the 2016 NCAA Division I men’s basketball tournament, he played for 10 minutes in USC’s loss to Providence.
