Chester Bennington Brother Is A Police Officer Just Like Their Father

Chester Bennington is survived by his brother Brian Bennington. Brian is also a policeman like their father.

Chester was one of the lead singers of the legendary rock band “Linkin Park.” His distinctive high-pitched voice, which attracted a lot of Linkin Park fans, is what people most commonly recall about him.

The rock band was a part of a new youth rebellion, and Chester’s voice was its signature.

The fact that he had achieved greatness despite overcoming countless obstacles and hardships in his early years was what made him particularly exceptional. Additionally, while he was open about his difficulties, Bennington’s songs became well-known for guiding listeners through their difficult times.

Brian Bennington is Chester Bennington Brother

Brian Bennington is Chester Bennington’s only brother, but he is from a different mother.

Like his father, Lee Russell Bennington, he works for the police. Papa Bennington was a policeman whose primary focus was investigating incidents of child abuse.

According to Brian’s LinkedIn page, he has been piloting police helicopters with the Phoenix Police Air Support Unit since August 2006, making it more than 16 years now.

Chester claimed that when he was younger, his older brother and sister left the house early, and his other sister wasn’t around much. He and his brother, though, seemed to have grown closer and had a good relationship as adults.

Brian Bennington chose the name @ChesterBro for his Twitter handle when he first created it.

Brian and his brother Bennington had a positive relationship once they were older. When Brian first joined Twitter, Chester shared his brother’s new account with the world.

Despite being somewhat active for a while, Brian hasn’t tweeted since 2010. Besides Twitter, he is not active on his other social media handles.

Chester Bennington Had a Troubled Childhood

Chester Bennington was born on March 20, 1976, in Phoenix, Arizona. He has an older half-brother and two older half-sisters who have never sought out the limelight. And while he was growing up, his siblings early left the home.

Chester has had a lot of suffering throughout his life, beginning with his far-from-perfect childhood. When he was around seven years old, he underwent troubles at home, which, according to him, ruined his self-confidence.

His parents separated when he was eleven, prompting him to live with his father. Bennington started doing drugs to mask his misery and loneliness. Alcohol abuse increased as he continued.

Later, when Chester was a teenager, he became heavily dependent on cocaine and methamphetamine. When he turned seventeen, he moved in with his mother. She discovered him doing drugs at that time and prevented him from leaving the house.

Bennington began working at Burger King and other odd jobs to start earning some money. Meanwhile, Bennington kept pursuing his childhood ambition of being a rock star.

In the end, he became the main singer for a local band named Grey Daze in 1993. Bennington eventually quit the band in the late 1990s due to artistic disagreements, although the band had amassed a sizable fan base in the Phoenix region by that point.
