After escaping the assault, the victim lady hid behind closed doors with her friends and eventually called her father, Mike Jones, who instantly arrived at the program and confronted Averie. Although the trans woman denies the assault and indicates the act was a joke, Jones and his daughter are making it clear that it was an attack.
After studying a few surveillance footages, the officials have issued an assault citation against Medlock, and the college has also removed her from the program.
