What are the two broad categories of agricultural waste?
Agricultural waste, which includes both organic (organic) and nonorganic wastes, is a general term used to describe farmgenerated waste through various agricultural activities.
What causes agricultural waste?

What is agricultural pollution?

How can we prevent agricultural pollution?
Conservation tillage: Reducing how often fields are tilled reduces erosion and soil compaction, builds soil organic matter, and reduces runoff. Managing livestock waste: Keeping animals and their waste out of streams, rivers and lakes keeps nitrogen and phosphorus out of the water and restores stream banks.
What is the main goal of sustainable agriculture?
In sustainable agriculture, the goal is to reduce the input of external energy and to substitute non-renewable energy sources with renewable sources (e.g., solar and wind power, biofuels from agricultural waste, or, where economically feasible, animal or human labor).
How can we prevent agricultural chemicals?
Applying fertilizers in the proper amount, at the right time of year and with the right method can significantly reduce how much fertilizer reaches water bodies. Keeping animals and their waste out of streams keeps nitrogen and phosphorus out of the water and protects stream banks.
What is the aim of soil pollution?
Aims and Objectives:
Environmental pollution influences both soil and agriculture which are the two facets of valuable resource necessary for our sustenance. For agriculture, soil is generally assumed as an inexhaustible resource, which is used and overused continually for increasing production.
What are the objectives of agriculture pollution?
The Agricultural Pollution Control Project aims to increase significantly the use of environment-friendly agricultural practices in rural areas in order to ultimately reduce the discharge of nutrients and other agricultural pollutants into the Danube River and Black Sea through integrated land and water management.
What is the main function of agriculture?
Agriculture plays a crucial role in the economy of developing countries, and provides the main source of food, income and employment to their rural populations.
What is the aim of Agriculture?
