Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to
apply for a Chadian Visa.
- Chad visa application form should be completely filled and signed by the applicant.
- Original, signed Angolan passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity.
- Passport must have 2 side-by-side blank pages for the Chad visa stamp.
- 3 recent passport photos, with a white background, taken within the last 6 months.
- Copy of round trip tickets or detailed itinerary for the duration of the trip bearing applicant’s name is required.

Requirements
- A tourist visa is issued to foreigners travelling to Chad for the purpose of leisure and tourism.
- Completely filled and signed visa application form.
- Signed original Angola passport that is valid for at least 6 months beyond stay in Chad.
- The passport must have 2 blank pages for the Chad visa stamp.
- 3 recent passport photos taken against a white background within the last 6 months is required.
- Copy of round trip tickets or detailed itinerary for the duration of the trip.
- Angolans who have been invited to the country by their friends or relatives are eligible to apply for this visa type.
- A letter of invitation from the host in Chad is required. The host could either be a family member, friend or tour company in Chad.

- Tourists are free to attend festivals and other events of taking place in Chad.
- This visa does not allow its holders to take up employment during their time in the country.
- Non-Angolans are required to have a copy of their Angola residency permit.

Requirements
- A business visa is issued to foreigners who have the intention of negotiation and signing of business contracts, involving in trade fairs, attending business conferences, and business seminars, creating new business relationships and developing already existing ones in Chad.
- If there have been previous trade relations between both companies, proof of this is required.
- Documents that show that the applicant has the incentive of returning to their home country should be provided.
- A copy of the applicant’s Angola residence permit is required if the applicant is not a citizen of Angola.
- A business letter from either the sending company in Angola or sponsoring company in Chad. The letter should be printed on company letterhead stationery and addressed to the Embassy of Chad.
- The letter should briefly introduce the applicant by specifying employment status/position held in the company by the applicant, the nature of the business to be conducted (ie. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.), the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in Chad.
- The business letter must state if the host in Chat will be financially responsible for the applicant during the duration of the required stay in Chad.
- A letter from the applicant’s employer in Angola is required. The letter must state the job position, salary level, and length of the applicant’s employment.
- Guarantee of sufficient funds for travel.
