Steinmetz came to the limelight after her Facebook post exposing the Texan Police Chief Jason Collier of living a double/triple life went viral on social media. The post went on to be spotted by mutual friends of a woman claiming to be Jason Collier’s mistress and his wife, Opal Collier.

According to information on the police department website, Texan police chief Jason Collier is married and has four children with his wife Opal Collier. Through a Facebook posted by Cecily, she accused him of living a ‘double/ triple life, she posted saying that, “Chief Jason Collier is living a double/triple life. I was his girlfriend until yesterday. “He lied to me and presented me with fake annulment documents when I found out he was married. I also found out about a 2nd girlfriend, Kristi, last night. He has lied to us, our children, and asked us both to marry him. He is a poor representative of your town. He would also visit me in Amarillo when he was on shift.”

Another woman, known as Kristi Shaffer, reached out over social media commenting to share how she has been dating and that she was engaged to the police chief Jason Collier since December. Steinmetz resides in Amarillo, Texas.
