Catherine Gee (born July 1967) is a British television presenter and property expert who took over as host of the famous ITV daytime makeover programme 60 Minute Makeover in 2011. She has also worked as a property consultant. The majority of her previous work included presenting the BBC’s relocation show, Escape to the Country, and serving as the location presenter on the long-running BBC Two panel game, Through the Keyhole.

She also served as the campaign manager for Country Living’s The Farmer Wants a Wife matchmaking campaign, as well as the host of the corresponding television show. She has worked in a variety of fields, including as a personal chef in the City and as an estate agent, before joining Country Living in 1995 as an assistant editor. It was during her tenure as Head of Shows, where she oversaw the organisation of events such as the Country Living Fairs, that she got engaged in the magazine’s first matching campaign for farmers, The Farmer Wants a Wife, which launched in 1999. She was in charge of the second campaign, which was shown on Thames TV and was nominated for a BAFTA award the following year.

That is how she was discovered and contacted by Talkback Productions to present their new BBC2 property relocation programme Escape to the Country in 2002, and then to replace Loyd Grossman as Sir David Frost’s location presenter on the long-running Through the Keyhole in 2004. She also hosts a UKTV Style programme called A Place by the Sea, as well as the ITV show No Place Like Home?, all of which air on the British television network ITV.
