Rooney, who is wedded to former England footballer Wayne Rooney, made her claims public in a dramatic tweet in October 2019 in which she purported to have conducted a months-long-lasting operation on her personal Instagram.
Besides, Vardy, the wife of Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, has categorically disputed the allegations and is suing Rooney for defamation.
The duo will face off for the first time at London’s Royal Courts of Justice, following months of preliminary hearings.
