Cardinal Head Coach David Shaw Married His Wife Kori Shaw In Early 2000
The head coach of Stanford Cardinal David married his beloved wife Kori in 2001 in Standford Memorial Chruch. The same year he became a quarterbacks coach from the quality control of Oakland Raiders.
The Shaw couple initially met in the dance club of Oakland. However, they had already started to spend time together by the summer of 1995 and were reported to have seen each other during Mrs. Shaw’s junior year in bachelor’s.
According to fabwags, the dating couple had gone to see the Apolo 13 on their first date, where they enjoyed the fries and tacos from Jack in the Box. However, they did not have it in the first place, but the assistant coach took her to see his school and had the food outside Stanford’s Memorial Church.
Further, Kori pursued her mechanical engineering studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1997. She is currently reported to be working as the Director of Production in Sonoma.

Coach Shaw’s Family Moved Around The Country While He Was A Child
David Shaw moved around the country with his family because of his father while he was young. Although born in San Diego, California, they had to travel a lot around the country because of his dad’s career.
Many believe the former wide receiver followed the footstep of his dad Willie Lorenzo Shaw who was also an NFL coach. He attended Rochester Adams High School in Michigan while his father was a coach for Detroit Lions.
When Willie got a coaching position at Stanford University in 1989, the family relocated back to the Bay Area, where David eventually completed his high school education at Union City, California’s James Logan High School.
But unfortunately, he has kept his lips tight while being asked about his mother. Although both father and son are documented in Wikipedia, none have information regarding coach Davids’s mom.
