Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to
apply for a Canadian Visa.
- Passport with a validity of more than 6 months from the intended period of exiting the country. The passport should have at two blank pages for the necessary stamp.
- Duly filled visa application form signed by the applicant.
- Two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background. The photo should follow the specification for a visa application.
- Original copy of bank statement from the past three months prior to the period of visa application. This is proof of a steady and continuous flow of funds.

- The Visitor Visa is issued to foreigners who have the intention of visiting Canada for the purpose of sightseeing, tourism, and recreation.
- Egyptians who have been invited to Canada by their family and relatives can travel to the country using this visa.
- Foreigners who have the intention of engaging in business activities in the country can visit the country on this visa.
- Business travelers visiting Canada can attend conferences, business summits, and trade fairs in the country.
- People who want to transit through Canada to their destination country are also eligible for this visa.
- Applicants of this visa are required to provide a diagnosis from their local physician in Egypt showing they are in good health condition.
- Foreigners on this visa can apply for an extension for this visa. To get an extension, you need to apply before the visa expires.
- Applicants who are under the age of 18 years, the original copy of the applicant’s birth certificate should be provided. If you will be traveling without supervision, a notarized consent signed by both parents of the minor should be provided.

- The Student Visa is issued to students from Egypt who have the intention of studying in any of the academic institutions in Canada.
- Applicants of this visa need to obtain a study permit before they can start studying.
- Holders of this visa can request an extension on this visa type. The extension must be extended 3 months before the time of expiry of this visa.
- Foreign students in Canada can work part-time while school is in session and full-time when the school is on break.
- A letter of acceptance from the institution that the applicant of this visa has been accepted to should be provided. The letter should state the course to be studied and the duration of the study programme.
- A medical report from the applicant’s doctor in Egypt showing that the applicant is in good health condition is required.
- Foreign students can stay in Canada for the entire duration of their study plus an extra 90 days.
- Applicants of this visa should provide a police certificate.
- If you are under the age of 18 years, the original copy of your birth certificate which carries the name of both parents should be provided.
- Certificates and transcripts from previous schools attended by the applicant of this visa are required.

Requirements
- Foreigners applying for the Work Visa are those who have the intention of taking up paid employment in the country.
- Before initiating the visa application process, the applicant should confirm that he/she has been employed by an employer in the country.
- A letter of employment written on the company’s letterhead should be provided. The letter should state the term of the contract and the position the applicant has been employed to fill.
- The employer in Canada should provide proof that the applicant will not be paid below the minimum wage paid to Canadians during the duration of employment.
- Proof that there was no Canadian will and available to take up the job at the time the applicant was offered this job is required.
- Egyptians applying for this visa are required to provide a medical report from a local physician in Egypt which shows that they are in good health condition.
- Foreigners in Canada can apply for an extension to the duration of their work permit. Applicants must apply for an extension before the visa expires.
- You will not be issued this visa if you do not have the right qualification that matches the job you have been offered.
