Early Life
Cameron Okoye comes from the popular Okoye family known for their great strides in the entertainment industry. His father is Peter Okoye was a part of the musical duo P-Square before their disbandment in 2017.
His father’s twin brother is Paul Okoye who now goes by the stage name Rude Boy. His other uncle is Jude Okoye. His cousin (Paul’s son) is Andre Okoye.
Cameron hails from Anambra State. Though he is an Igbo boy, he was raised in Lagos City.
He is the first child of his family and has only one sibling, a sister named Aliona Okoye.
His mother is Mrs Lola Omotayo Okoye, who is an entrepreneur.
Education
Cameron Okoye completed his elementary school from an expensive primary school in Victoria Island.
He is currently in middle school in a top secondary school in Lagos.
Career
Since Cameron Okoye was a toddler, he had shown interest in football. His parents helped him to develop his love for the game by signing him up for football summer camps trainings.
With time, he has grown into a better footballer. He was formerly a member of Little Tigers Football Club.
In 2017, Cameron Okoye‘s club emerged the winner of a tournament and he was awarded the Top Goal Scorer Award by his team.
In the latter part of 2017, he joined the Youth Team of the Barcelona Football Academy based in Lagos.
Due to his passion for football, he has had the opportunity of talking and meeting with great African footballers such as Samuel Etoo, Didier Drogba, Victor Moses.
