Irish golfer Séamus Power is the defending champion but will not participate in the title defense. He chose to take time off from one of the last events of the Fall series.

Power grabbed his second PGA Tour win on October 30, 2022, when he beat Thomas Detry by a single stroke to win the 2022 Butterfield Bermuda Championship.

The 36-year-old had won his first PGA Tour event back on July 18, 2021, when he won the Barbasol Championship. It took him almost a decade to win his first event on tour since he turned professional.

Power started the first three rounds well and was on top of the leaderboard. His final round was not as good as his first three but he still picked up a narrow win.

• Round 1 – 65
• Round 2 – 65

The total purse for the event was $6.5 million, and Power took home $1,170,000 as the winner’s share.

Séamus Power has seven professional wins in his career and is yet to win a major championship. His best finish in the majors was a T9 finish at the 2022 PGA Championship.

He is currently ranked 69th in the OWGR, and since joining the tour in 2017, he has played 160 events and recorded 18 top-10 finishes.

The Australian golfer beat Danny Lee and Patrick Reed who were tied for second. Herbert took home $1,170,000 as the winner’s share from the $6.5 million purse.

Herbert turned professional in 2015 and has taken part in 56 PGA Tour events with 3 top-10 finishes. He has four professional wins in his career with three of them coming in the European Tour.

Although he went on to win the 2022 event, Herbert did not have the best of starts in the first round. He quickly made up for it in the following rounds.

The 51-year-old has not made it to the top 10 in the majors and his T20 finish in the PGA Championship (2008) and U. S. Open (2018) are his best finishes.
