Requirements

  • The Burkinabe tourist visa is a visa issued to Foreigners visiting Burkina Faso for tourism, sight-seeing, vacation or visitation. 
  • Burkina Faso tourist visa is valid for a period of 90 days.
  • Applicants who wish to extend their stay due to some reasons must contact the head office of the national police in Ouagadougou. 
  • A passport with six months validity and two blank pages for visa stamps is required. 
  • Two recently taken passport-sized photographs 35X45mm in size and taken on an all-white background is required. 
  • Proof of sufficient funds to cover your entire period of stay. 
  • Proof of accommodation in Burkina Faso. 
  • A letter of invitation from a friend or relative in the country. 
  • A certificate of yellow fever vaccination is required. 
  • There is no currency restriction for entry and exit in Burkina Faso. However, applicants are required to own sufficient funds to cover their expenses while in the country.

  • The
    Burkinabe business visa is a visa issued to foreigners who intend to visit Burkina Faso for business purposes.
  • Thailand citizens who intend to visit Burkina Faso for business conferences,
    exhibitions, trade fairs or business meetings can apply for this visa.
  • A
    valid passport with at least six months validity remaining and two blank pages for visa stamps is required.
  • A
    completely filled and signed Burkinabe business visa application form is required.
  • Two
    passport-sized photographs taken against a white background is
    required.
  • A
    letter of invitation from the host company in Burkina Faso is
    required. The letter must be written on the company’s letterhead and
    must state the type of business transaction to be conducted while in
    Burkina Faso.
  • A
    business cover letter stating the purpose and duration of your visit to Burkina Faso.
  • Onward/return tickets or confirmed itinerary.
  • A
    certificate of yellow fever vaccination.
  • A
    travel medical insurance valid for the duration of your stay in the country is required.
  • Either
    the business partner in Burkina Faso or the applicant’s employer in
    Thailand must state coverage for the applicant’s expenses while
    traveling to Burkina Faso, a letter must be submitted to this
    effect.
