Paedophile and disgraced performer Rolf Harris passed away at the age of 93.
A registrar at Maidenhead Town Hall verified his death on Tuesday, and his death certificate lists neck cancer and “frailty of old age” as the causes of death.
The performer was sentenced to five years and nine months in prison in 2014 after being found guilty of attacks that occurred between 1968 and 1986 on victims who were allegedly between the ages of seven or eight and 19.
At Southwark Crown Court in 2016, he entered a not-guilty plea to seven further counts of indecent assault and one count of sexual assault. However, the trial was dismissed when the jury was unable to reach a decision.
