Brooklinn Khoury, 22, underwent life-changing surgery, which she confessed she had “extremely mixed thoughts” about because of the lengthy and rigorous recovering process.

The treatment is said to have cost $400,000 and will need at least five follow-up procedures as shared by daily mail.

In a YouTube video posted only days before her operation, she stated that she would need a feeding tube placed up her nose following the surgery since she wouldn’t move her lips at all.

The young celebrity planned to remove some skin and an artery from her arm and place it on her lips to function as a new lip. The process was described as a skin graft.

She also disclosed that it took her more than a year to locate a doctor willing to work on her face, but it was well worth the wait. Brooklinn had surgery on November 17, but she has yet to update how it went or how she is doing.

She tweeted a video from inside a business one day later, implying that she is no longer in the hospital.

She kept posting images online, and her Instagram follower count nearly quadrupled. She now has over 58,000 followers, and it turns out that going through the horrible situation made her even more relevant to her fans.

She began earning around $1,000 for each sponsored post and made a slew of extensive brand collaborations with businesses such as DC Shoes.

She even launched her own YouTube channel to track her rehabilitation journey, with her first video receiving almost 250,000 views.
