The police drama Blue Bloods made Kathryn Bridget Moynahan, an American actress and former model, famous for her portrayal of Erin Reagan. She was born on April 28, 1971.
Despite acknowledging that she had never read fashion magazines growing up, Moynahan sought a modeling career after finishing high school.
She had gone to a modeling audition with a friend in Springfield, Massachusetts, but she was chosen by the modeling agency rather than her friend.
While attending the University of Massachusetts Amherst, she started her career in Springfield by making appearances in department shop catalogs.
At the age of 18, Moynahan relocated to New York City, and a year later she started to appear in magazines like Vogue and Elle as well as on the covers of other well-known periodicals.
