Born on April 28, 1971, Kathryn Bridget Moynahan is an American actress and former model best known for playing Erin Reagan in the police drama Blue Bloods.
As Rachel, a bartender, and dancer in a raucous New York bar, Moynahan made her feature film debut in the 2000 comedy-drama Coyote Ugly. This performance was seen as her breakthrough.
She agreed to play the part because “I found it interesting that the entire film revolved around five women…and my character was so strong and independent.”
Despite the mostly negative reviews, the movie was a box office hit, taking approximately $133 million globally. Her next part was as Hally, the fiancée of John Cusack’s character, in the 2001 film Serendipity.
