John Cole is a stepdad from Bridgend who is charged with murdering his own stepson. His stepson, who was just 5 years old, was found dead in a river.
John Cole was always rude to his stepson, Logan, and he was mean to him almost all the time. Unemployed, Cole would purposefully exclude Logan from family “takeaway nights” when they ate Chinese cuisine or KFC and taunt him about the meals he was missing out on.
Cole shut off Logan’s communication with the outside world and even prevented him from visiting his biological father.
He denied abusing Logan but admitted throughout the trial to slapping his hands, clipping around the head, and forcing him to stand in a “naughty corner” for lengthy periods of time, even though it would drive Logan to self-harm.
After John killed Logan, his family tried to cover up the whole story but was unsuccessful.

John Cole Sentence For Murder Of 5-Year Old Logan Mwangi
For the murder of Logan Mwangi, John Cole will get a life sentence in prison as per the latest reports. Some were assuming and hoping that he gets a death sentence but he was given a lifetime in prison.
His family, on the other hand, who assisted him in clearing the evidence and tampering with it, could face up to 5 years in prison under California law.
Many people are currently raising their voices that the murderer of a 5-year-old innocent child should get the death penalty and nothing less.

John Cole Whole Family Arrested For The Heinous Crime
While John Cole was arrested for the murder of the 5-year-old boy, Logan Mwangi, his family, which included his girlfriend and a 13-year-old boy, were arrested for covering up the evidence.
Prosecutor Bethan Poole told the court that his mother discovered him dead in the early hours of Saturday morning and that a plan was devised to cover up the killing.
Logan’s corpse was brought to the river in a plastic garbage bag, according to the court, and his torn t-shirt was also discarded. According to the court, the family frequently utilized the river for fly-tipping. Logan’s corpse was discovered at 05:45 BST on Saturday, after complaints of a missing five-year-old.
He was brought to the Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend, where he was declared dead.
