Bri Winkler is an American weather reporter for ABC7 Eyewitness News. She was born on October 24, 1987 in south-eastern Massachusetts. Her father is John Karsten Winkler and her mother, Terry Shaw. Bri has two siblings whom she considers her rock. Her brother’s name is Dave Winkler and her sister is Tara Riggs.
She attended the University of Miami where she studied Marine and Atmospheric Science with a minor in Mathematics and Communications. She began her broadcasting journey at KAMR-TV located in Texas. She presented the weather forecast in the morning and was also a show host on “Does It Work”.
She moved to ABC7 where she worked as a morning meteorologist. She took a break after 6 years at ABC7 to pursue a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science. She had a sudden stroke in 2012 but later recovered. Bri Winkler stands at an average height of 5 feet 5 inches.
