Brenda was born and raised in a nucleus family but has had to bear the loss of her flock sadly. In 2012, Wairimu’s parents were separated by death as his father passed on and was laid to rest at Langata cemetery. Her late mother, Janet Njeri Ngatho took up the two roles and played them along well. Regrettably, she also started having health problems and in 2015, she succumbed to kidney failure.
