The actor played a werewolf character, Tyler Lockwood, on the vampire show for eight seasons beginning in 2009 and later appeared in a recurring role in the Vampire Diaries spin-off series, The Originals.
Born in California, Trevino was raised by his parents in Montbello and later moved to Valencia. The actor’s roots hail from Mexico, with a Mexican mother and father born to Mexican immigrants.
