- Online visa application forms of the applicant.
- An original passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel.
- Two blank passport pages for stamps.

- The applicant’s income tax returns for the past 3 years.
- The applicant’s bank statements for 6 months before the application.

Brazil Tourist Visa Eligibility &
Requirements
- This visa is required for Zimbabwe citizens who wish to travel to Brazil for tourism and leisure.
- Applicants are to submit a valid passport which has a validity of at least 6 months from the date of departure.
- The passport must not be torn, separated or altered.
- All documents and applications submitted by applicants should be written in Portuguese.
- An extension of stay at the expiration of the applicant’s visa should be made with the federal police on arrival.
- Travelers stay must not exceed 180 days in a year.
- Applicants of this visa can also participate in conferences, seminars, congresses or meetings, voluntary service or research activities and educational or academic extension.
- For those participating in conferences, seminars, athletic or artistic events, and competitions, an original invitation letter from the organizing institution in Brazil is required.
- For children under the age of 18, both parents must sign the application form. A valid photo ID of both parents is required along with the original copy of the birth certificate.
- Proof of payment of visa application fee should also be provided.
- You are not allowed to work, go to school, or engage in business activities while on a Brazil tourist visa as engaging in these activities can result in deportation.
- The visa candidate’s bank statements for the past 6 months with a substantial amount of money in the account should be presented.
- For children below 7 years, a birth certificate needs to be provided.
- Applicants must hold a valid return ticket and provide proof of sufficient funds for the duration of their stay.
Brazil Business Visa Eligibility &
Requirements
- This type of visa is issued to businessmen, representatives or employees of foreign companies who want to visit Brazil for business purposes.
- With this visa, applicants can attend business meetings and conferences and conclude contracts.
- A covering letter from the applicant’s company is required. The letter must have the company’s letterhead, the name of the company, the designation of the candidate, the department he or she works in and the contact number.
- A notarized letter of invitation from the concerned organization in Brazil is needed. The letter should be written in both English and Portuguese.
- The letter should also include all the details of the company such as the registration number, the duration, and purpose of the applicant’s visit.
- If the applicant is a business owner, a copy of the certificate of business registration and the latest tax returns is required.
- If your employer is to assume the financial responsibility of your trip, it should be stated in the letter from your employer.
- There should be proof of previous business dealings in the company, if there were any.
Brazil Work Visa Eligibility &
Requirements
- This type of visa is required for foreign citizens traveling to Brazil for work purposes.
- The applicant must provide proof of a job contract.
- Applicants are advised to be sure that they have been offered a job in Brazil before initiating the application.
- The Brazilian work visa is categorized into two- temporary and permanent work visas.
- The temporary work visa issued to foreigners is usually valid for two years.
- An extension for another two years can be requested not later than 30 days before the visa’s expiration.
- After these four years, the company can apply for a permanent work visa.
- Applicants will need both a residence permit and a work permit.
- For applicants without an employment contract, proof of a job offer with a Brazilian company would be requested.
- The applicant’s employer in Brazil is to submit the work contract to Brazil’s Ministry of Labor.
- Note that the employing company is responsible for carrying out all the formalities at the Ministry of Labor in Brazil for the work visa process after labor approval.
- Work visas can only be processed at the Consular Section once a visa approval notice is issued by the Brazilian Ministry of Labor.
- If you are under the age of 18, a notarized consent signed by both your parents should be provided.
- Also, the original copy of your birth certificate is required.
- There is also a short-term work visa which is valid for 90 days. This can be obtained by getting approval directly from the Brazilian consular offices.
- The applicant needs to provide the contract that has been signed as proof to the immigration department.
Brazil Student Visa Eligibility &
Requirements
- The student visa is issued to foreigners traveling to Brazil to attend regular courses or participate in exchange or internship programs.
- Holders of this visa are allowed to undertake paid legal employment in Brazil as long as it is compatible with their course load.
- Applicants are to provide proof of financial capacity that covers their duration of stay.
- Applicants are to provide proof of payment of tuition.
- Applicants are to submit proof of health insurance.
- If your study program is less than 90 days, you must apply for the visitor’s visa instead.
- A letter of acceptance from the academic institution you have been accepted to is required. The letter should outline the nature of the study being undertaken in Brazil.
- Police Certificate issued within the last three months, certifying the absence of criminal record should be provided.
- Minors are required to have their original birth certificate accompanied by a letter of consent signed by both their parents.
- A receipt that shows payment of visa application fee has been made is also important.
