Brandon Miller Height and Weight

Combine measurements of Brandon Miller:

Brandon is a 20-year-old small forward who is most likely to be picked early in the 2023 draft. He stands at 6’9″ and weighs about 200 pounds.

The average height of NBA players in the forward position is around 6 feet and 10 inches. Miller’s altitude falls one inch below the median, but it’s still impressive compared to most players.

Brandon Miller Draft Comparison [Players taller than him]

Brandon is not the tallest among the players in the 2023 NBA draft. There are four other players who have more height than him.

• Victor Wembanyama – 7 ft 4 in [2.24 m)
• Dereck Lively II – 7 ft 1 in [2.15 m)
• James Nnaji – 6 ft 11 in (2.10 m)
• Noah Clowney – 6 ft 10 in (2.08 m)

While Wembanyama is the tallest among the 30 draftees, the 19-year-old guard Scoot Henderson is the smallest, with a stature of 6-foot-2.

Besides, Miller is from Antioch and went to Cane Ridge High School. In his junior year, he was chosen as the Tennessee Gatorade Player of the Year because of his remarkable performance. He had impressive averages of 23.3 points, 4.3 assists, 8 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game.

The Charlotte Hornets’ probable pick is a versatile player capable of scoring from all three levels. He is a good shooter from the perimeter, with a smooth stroke and range out to three-point range.

Brandon is a good rebounder and defender proficient in scoring while dribbling, utilizing his athletic ability to finish effectively at the rim.

He has the length and athleticism to guard various positions along with being a good shot blocker. Miller is also a solid passer who can create opportunities for his fellow teammates.

Brandon Miller has a wingspan of 7 feet and 2 inches, which gives him a considerable advantage when playing on the court.

If you are unsure what wingspan means, it refers to the distance between the tips of your fingers when your arms are fully extended.

Wingspan is essential for basketball players because it allows them to reach further for rebounds and blocks. Players can benefit from the longer reach provided by this, enabling them to shoot over defenders with greater ease.

During the draft combine, Miller’s defense caught much attention, just like his 3-point shooting. The former Alabama star is good at defending near the basket because he’s tall and has long arms, and he can get even better if he gains more weight.

While Manute Bol holds the record for the longest wingspan in NBA history with a gigantic 8 feet 6 inches (2.59 meters), the current athlete with the most extensive wing is the Lakers center Mo Bamba. Bamba is a 7-foot-tall player whose wing spreads at 7 feet and 10 inches.

It is also worth mentioning Brandon Miller vertical jump is 34.5 inches, which is above average for a small forward. With his impressive leap, Miller is able to effectively block shots at the rim and execute stylish lobs above it.

Longest Wingspan NBA History

• Manute Bol – 8’6″
• Tacko Fall – 8’2″
• Kevin McHale – 8’0″
• Mo Bamba – 7’10”
• Boban Marjanovic – 7’10”
• Alexis Ajinca – 7’9″
• Rudy Gobert – 7’8.5″
• Mouhamed Sene – 7’8.5″
• Wilt Chamberlain – 7’8″

Brandon Miller has been compared to NBA elites Kevin Durant and Paul George because of his physical build and style of play.

The former Houston Rockets star Chandler Parsons made a bold statement while appearing on FanDuel TV in June 2023, comparing the 20-year-old with two absolute best of the game, George and Durant.

Miller is similar in height to both of them. Parsons went on to prove his points regarding the resemblance with Kevin. Undoubtedly, both these players are tall and athletic forwards with long wingspans. They are also both skilled scorers who can shoot from all three levels.

However, it is important to wait for Brandon to demonstrate his skills on the NBA court before making any comparisons. He is young and does not come close to either of them in terms of skill set and endurance.

Miller has a career ahead of him to improve his handle and playmaking in order to reach his full potential.

On the flip side, the small forward (SF) has a similar size (6-foot-9) and moves on the court as smoothly as Paul George. He has the potential to be the main offensive force and can contribute to various aspects of the game.

Both Miller and George have smooth shooting techniques, whether they are shooting after catching the ball or while dribbling. Additionally, Miller has the potential to be a strong defender, just like George. He can adapt and guard multiple positions effectively.

Furthermore, Miller also holds a resemblance with the two-time NBA All-Star Bam Adebayo. Bam is a 6-foot-9 center for the Miami Heat. Bradon played one year of college basketball like him, but his NCAA stats are much better than Adebayo’s.

Miller has great potential and can reach great heights in his basketball career. He has the ability to become an All-Star player consistently, scoring more than 25 points per game.

Even if he does not reach his highest potential, Brandon should still be a reliable player and a valuable starter in the NBA for years to come.
